Michelle Turner lives in Tucson, Arizona, flanked by the Santa Catalina, Rincon, and Tucson Mountains. She was born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, Virginia. Michelle has also lived in PA, MA, NJ, MI, IA, CO, and Taiwan. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in The Baltimore Review, The Greensboro Review, Slice, Southern Humanities Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, Sixth Finch, and other publications. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Virginia. Michelle works as a student success coach for a local nonprofit and as an independent editor via Word Forward, LLC.
