Michelle Turner lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains and a half mile from the Cache La Poudre River. She was born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in publications such as The Baltimore Review, The Carolina Quarterly, Slice, Southern Humanities Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, and elsewhere. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Virginia. Michelle works as an editor, writing coach, and academic advisor.
